CDM-Coordination
Valco can provide numerous services, including CDM Coordination, which add value during the project set-up, construction and delivery stages of a construction project, carefully managing the risks associated with compliance.
CDM Coordinator
Under the current CDM Regulations it is a legal
requirement for a client to
appoint a competent CDM Coordinator for any ‘Notifiable’ project.
We provide only APS registered CDM Coordinators to ensure that our clients receive the competency levels necessary for this role, which has the following responsibilities under the current regulations:
- Advise and Assist Client with their duties.
- Notify HSE.
- Identify, collect and pass on pre-construction information.
- Coordinate health and safety aspects of design work and co-operate with others involved with the project.
- Facilitate good communication between client, designers and contractors.
- Liaise with principal contractor about ongoing design.
- Prepare and update the project Health & Safety File.
Associated Services
In addition to the CDM Coordinators role, Valco offer a number of additional services that would assist a client through the course of a project to ensure that the project is compliant with the current CDM Regulations.
